Kretches are powerful beings who are created by witches to fulfill specific purposes such as scrying or hunting down an enemy. Kretches often take the form of grotesque and mutated animals. Kretches are physically powerful and each have unique abilities, but generally have very short lifespans (a few weeks to a few months).
Two kretches appear in the series: Tibb and an unnamed wolf-like kretch.
