Talkus was the most powerful Kobalos god, but has not been born yet. It is said that when he has been born, the Kobalos will have a holy war with the Humans and Valkarky will expand until it conquers the whole earth. After The Fiend died, Talkus dragged the Fiend's power into his own, therefore gaining the Fiend's abilities and powers.
Biography[]
Talkus was a New God formed within the mind of a Kobalos High Mage. Initially constructed to solve the former crime of the Kobalos males slaying all their females, the god was later changed to be one of great bloodlust and malevolence, the God of Skelts. The Trimuvarate, the ruling trio of High Mages in Valkarky, use Talkus as a driving force for their invasion of the kingdoms of man.
When the Fiend is bound to the Wardstone by Tom Ward and sent through space and time to the domain of Talkus, large numbers of skelts emerge from the boiling lake and take portions of his body and powers to the newly formed Talkus, giving him the powers of the Fiend and allowing his growth to begin. His power would increase until none of the Old Gods could oppose him.
In the Starblade Chronicles, Tom Ward works closely with Grimalkin to find ways to destroy the New God of the Kobalos. After Grimalkin enters his kingdom and steals part of his life force, Talkus follows her undead form into the tower of the dark mage Lukrasta located in Cymru. The tower can move through time and space. After battling Grimalkin and Mark shortly and fiercely, the tower is transported by Lukrasta to the earliest days of earth and Talkus is trapped within molten rock.
The last we hear of Talkus is before the strongest High Mage and most powerful Kobalos is killed by Tom Ward (lamia form), he states that he can create an even stronger New God to take the place of Talkus. After the High Mage and the New God are destroyed, the threat of the Kobalos destroying the county is, by all assumption, no more.
Powers and Skills[]
Talkus is the most powerful Kobalos god. After the Fiend was slain, Talkus was born. His servants fed him the remains of the Fiend, which amplified his powers.
His powers are mostly unknown as he never reached his full abilities, but he is shown to be able to shift form into a glowing red orb and move freely through physical space like Grimalkin. He also commands skelts, a bloodthirsty and brutal creature of the Dark.
