Book Description[]
For years, the local Spook has been keeping the County safe from ghosts and boggarts, but more especially from witches.
The stories describe John Gregory's past relationship with the lamia witch Meg Skelton, the recollections of a now dead witch, Grimalkin's tale of her runin with the fiend, Alice's struggles with Bony Lizzie, and one of Tom's adventures during his six months with Bill Arkwright.
And here are five dark and terrifying witch stories from the Spook's own collection. There are child-eating witches, witch assassins, Celtic witches, dead witches, and witches so beautiful they can break a man's heart.
These stories will chill your blood and frighten you to your very bones. Just remember not to read them after dark.
